Saturday’s the big day at NY Comic Con, or most conventions in general for that matter.

Some of the days highlights included seeing Jeffery Rowland at the Dumbrella table. A friend of mine was downsized at her job, so I asked if he’d do a sketch for her. Being the awesome guy he is, he did it. I can’t wait to give it to her, she’ll be pretty happy.

I also got to see Unemployed Skeletor. I filmed an interview with him, along with a sketch that I’ll post here as soon as it’s edited. The interview is part of a coverage video I was trying to make, though I didn’t get nearly what I’d have hoped to get since my camera person decided she wasn’t going to go the morning my friend was going to pick her up.

I also got to meet the folks at Pure Pwnage. Jen’s a fan, so I picked up a metal sign for her and the group autographed it.

There were tons of awesome costumes, and I’ll post some pictures on the NDK MySpace page during the week.

And now, who’s who in my update above. The first picture is me with some of the guys at Pure Pwnage. From left to right, Jeremy, me, Geoff, and Miranda. In the second picture, it’s Ben Garreth (my camera man for the Unemployed Skeletor interview and sketch), Unemployed Skeletor himself, and me.
