008 Awesome Weekend
Tuesday, May 8th, 2007What an awesome weekend indeed! Spider-Man was amazing. I’m leaning towards the second in terms of favorite, but I don’t think anything tops 3’s final battle. Unfortunately for Ray, the film burned up in the projector durring that battle, and he was given a free pass to see it again a different night.
If anyone picked up the Amazing Spider-Man comic for Free Comic Book Day, then you’d know that May 5th was Aunt May’s birthday. I don’t know if her birthday was set and/or mentioned prior in the comics, but it was pretty funny.
I used my own photographs again in this comic. They were actually taken specifically for it. It really made the pictures feel special. Unlike the half dozen other shots I discarded to get the ones I used. It’s not like anyone cared about them anyway.
Next week, special guest! He even wrote his own lines! Oh no, I accidently gave you a hint! Yes, it’s a guy. That narrows it down to what, two-thirds of the human population? I mean it. I seriously don’t know the ratio of men to women. You know, I probably could have left it at 2/3, it’s not like anyone’d challenge it. Oh well. See you guys next week.

Hooray hurrah! This is a fun one, indeed. I like all the different poses and costumes you drew for the two of you. Also, the picture for the last panel was taken in quite a beautiful spot.
…but why is there always a bulge on “male” mechs/body armor? It makes one wonder.

I don’t know what the bulge is for. If I did, I’d be building mechs.
Oh, and Mike, Ray’s got a gun in the 2nd panel and you’re afraid that he can FLY?

I’m not sure what the worldwide population statistics are. In the US, 51% are female. At least, that’s the last statistic I’ve heard. It might have changed in recent years, but I doubt it. What does it say about you that you think men outnumber women by such a great amount? Hmmmm… I blame Alana.

Oddly, 51% of births tend to be male because the boy sperm are just a tiny bit faster. Unfortunately they’re also more stupid, which might be why men die off faster.
If 2/3 of the planet were male, I’d have an easier time finding a decent guy! ^_-
