NY Comic Con 2007 Day Three
Sunday, February 25th, 2007I’m actually posting on Tuesday, but I don’t know how to get multiple posts in one day to work.
Day three was pretty cool. Not as much going on as Friday or Saturday, but still pretty cool. I didn’t stop at any panels, it was pretty much a day for pictures. I picked up a few more comics, but it was nothing like the haul I had for the first two days.
I saw Jeffery Rowland again, and asked if he’d be OK with me posting the sketch he made for me. He was cool with it. I also asked if he’d mind taking a picture with my girlfriend, since she’s a big fan too. I didn’t do it on Friday because I was a bit too star struck. I was impressed about how cool he was in regards to taking pictures and the sketch in my book. He easily went from “one of my favorite” webcomic artists to “number one favorite.”
Expect a page just for pictures and my story for the whole trip by next weekend. I’ll link to it in the blog accompanying the comic for next weekend.

I was pretty star-struck, as well. I mean, what? Jeffrey Rowland? He touched my shoulder and we have proof of the photograph type.
That giant Pikachu was at once creepy and adorable.

We used that giant pikachu as our meeting spot if we got seperated. You could see it from every where and in that terrifying way, it could also see you wherever you went…

I tried to stay away from it for fear I’d have Poke-droppings fall on me.
